Styling tip — The cherry blossom's bare branching structure and white blooms look most dramatic against dark or deeply coloured walls — charcoal, navy, deep green and warm terracotta all create a striking backdrop. It also looks beautiful against white walls where the delicate flowers take centre stage. Give the branches room to spread — allow 60–80cm of clearance on each side. Pair with a wide, substantial pot in matte black, dark charcoal or aged stone to ground the airy blooms above.
