What size pot do I need for a 180cm faux tree?
A pot with a 32–40cm mouth opening works best for 160–180cm trees. For 210cm+ trees, look for 40–50cm. When in doubt, size up — a slightly generous pot looks intentional and grounded.
Do I need drainage holes for a faux plant pot?
No — faux plants never need watering so drainage is completely irrelevant. This gives you complete freedom to use purely decorative pots that wouldn't work for real plants.
What is fibrestone?
Fibrestone combines stone powder with resin to create a pot that looks and feels like real stone but is significantly lighter and more durable. Ideal for large faux trees — visual weight of stone without being impossible to move.
Which pot works best with a faux olive tree?
Terracotta, aged concrete and natural rattan baskets are the classic olive tree pairings. For a contemporary look, matte white or charcoal fibrestone works beautifully.
Can your pots be used outdoors?

For 180cm trees, 28–34cm internal diameter. For 210cm+, go to 36–42cm. Measure the nursery base your tree arrives in and size up by 6–8cm.
What is fibrestone and how durable is it?
A composite of fibreglass and stone powder — looks like concrete but weighs much less. Won't crack, chip or fade, and needs no sealing or maintenance.
Can fibrestone pots be used outdoors?
Yes — UV-stable and suited to Australian weather including direct sun and rain. Works equally well indoors and outdoors.
Do the fibrestone pots have drainage holes?
Yes — all our fibrestone pots come with a drainage hole, making them practical for both faux and real plants.
What are the iron vases made from?
Powder-coated steel with a matte or brushed finish. Durable, scratch-resistant and designed for indoor use as statement vessels for faux flowers and stems.
Can I use the iron vases outdoors?
They're designed for indoor use — extended outdoor exposure can cause oxidisation. For outdoor settings, our fibrestone pots are the better choice.
How do I style the pot to make a faux tree look real?

How do I clean a fibrestone pot or iron vase?
A damp cloth is all either needs. Avoid harsh cleaners on fibrestone and abrasive pads on iron. No sealing or maintenance required.
