Section 1

Change of mind returns

We offer a 14-day change-of-mind return policy from the date you receive your order. We know that sometimes a piece doesn't work in a space the way you imagined — and that's completely okay.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, your item must meet all of the following:

  • Unused and unassembled
  • In its original condition — no bends, marks or damage
  • All original packaging and tags intact
  • Proof of purchase provided
Please note Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Sale items and gift cards are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.


Section 2

How to start a return

Starting a return is simple. Follow these steps and we'll take care of the rest.

Contact us first Email hello@theplantscorner.com.au with your order number and the reason for your return. Please don't send items back without approval — we can't accept unauthorised returns.

Wait for approval We'll review your request and get back to you within one business day with instructions on how to proceed.

Send the item back Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it to the address we provide. Keep your tracking number — we recommend using a trackable service.

Receive your refund Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll process your refund within 10 business days to your original payment method. You'll receive an email confirmation.

Section 3

Faulty or damaged items

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, refund or repair if a product has a major fault, is significantly different from its description, is not of acceptable quality, or is unfit for its intended purpose.

If your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours of delivery — with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos of the product and outer packaging
We cover return shipping For all approved damaged or defective items, The Plants Corner will cover return shipping costs in full. You won't be out of pocket for something that wasn't your fault.

For major faults, you may choose between a full refund or replacement. For minor faults, we may offer a replacement within a reasonable timeframe.


Section 4

Items not eligible for return

We are unable to accept returns for the following:

  • Custom or personalised products
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper handling or abnormal use
  • Sale items (for change-of-mind returns)
  • Gift cards

If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before returning — we're happy to help you work it out.


Section 5

Exchanges

If you'd like a different size, style or product, the fastest way to get what you need is to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order separately.

Australian Consumer Law

This policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
