Where the trunk is half the story.

Most trees ask you to look up at the canopy. This one asks you to look at the whole picture. Our 160cm Faux Ficus Tree (Ficus benjamina) is defined as much by its trunk as its foliage — a beautifully twisted real wood base that rises with the kind of natural, unhurried character that takes a real tree decades to develop. It's sculptural before the first leaf even comes into view.

Above it, the canopy is full and lush — small, glossy leaves layered generously across gently arching branches that catch light and create that soft, dappled quality you only expect from a real tree. At 160cm it's a comfortable, versatile height — at home in a living room corner, on either side of a console, or as a quietly sophisticated feature in a bedroom or home office. No watering, no leaf drop, no fussing. Just real wood texture and permanent, polished greenery.

Why you'll love it

🪵

Real twisted wood trunk

A genuine real wood trunk with a beautifully twisted form — natural character and warmth that no synthetic material can replicate.

🍃

Glossy layered canopy

Small, glossy ficus leaves layered across gently arching branches — lush, full and convincingly lifelike from every angle.

📏

Versatile 160cm height

A comfortable height for living rooms, bedrooms, offices and commercial spaces — elegant without demanding the room around it.

✨

Zero maintenance

No watering, no dropped leaves, no sunlight required. Real wood beauty with absolutely zero ongoing effort.

Styling tip — The twisted trunk is this tree's defining feature, so position it where the base is visible rather than hidden by furniture. A spot beside a sofa or armchair, slightly in front of a wall, lets both trunk and canopy be appreciated fully. Use a pot 28–34cm in diameter — a dark slate, aged bronze or natural stone planter complements the warm wood tones beautifully. A pair framing a doorway or fireplace is a particularly striking combination.

Pot sizing. Pot not included. For a 160cm ficus tree we recommend a pot 26–30cm in diameter and 28–32cm tall. A round white ridged ceramic or smooth fibrestone pot — as shown — is the classic pairing. Browse our pots and vases collection.
