The ribbing is the whole story here. Fine, closely spaced grooves catch the light differently depending on the angle, creating subtle shifts of shadow and tone across the surface — deeper and darker toward the base, softening to a lighter terracotta warmth near the rim. Three gently defined bands break up the height, giving the silhouette a quiet, sculptural rhythm rather than a single uniform column.
